Wanted to go home and nap but Hock dragged me to the library. It had been ages since I last stepped into Bedok Library. We tried borrowing with our driver's licenses and it worked! Just that we had to adjust the card so that the scanner can read the license's barcode. I had to verify my card at the counter first as I had not borrowed for many many years. My house number in their records was the number in Lor Marican...that meant at least 15 years ago. Lol. I ended up borrowing a guide on Tokyo and two Baby Blues comics.
Stopped by Bedok Interchange for Hollywood's ice kachang and packed Baby's favourite goreng pisang home. Dinner was at Geylang Lor 21A with Baby and Min. We had charcoal fried hokkien mee, oyster omelette and Leong Kee claypot bak kut teh. The oyster omelette was quite decent and HKM was flavourful though I wish they are more generous with their sotong.
The ribs in the bak kut teh were very tender. There's fried tau kee inside and the soup had herbal taste but was still acceptable by me. I don't like food with strong herbal taste as some herbs are heaty and I will fall sick after eating them.
